Silky Chocolate Fudge Sauce

An easy and impressive dessert that requires only minutes of work. It will become one of your sweet mainstays.

fudge sauce:

1 cup whipping cream
2 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoon cocoa

serve with:

berries
vanilla ice cream

Combine sugar and cocoa in a sauce pan.

Over low heat, add the cream in a slow stream, stirring.

Allow to cook for about 8 minutes, or until it has slightly thickened, while stirring constantly. Fudge is done when a tiny drop dropped into a glass of water forms a small ball.

Store in a sealed container at room temperature until ready to serve.

To assemble, add a generous dollop to the bottom of an individual serving dish. Top with one scoop of vanilla ice cream and fresh berries.
