Old Fashioned

Old Fashioned

1 tsp. sugar
dash of bitters
1 tsp. cold water
2 to 3 oz. bourbon
twist of lemon peel
orange slice, for garnish
cherry, for garnish

Put sugar, bitters and water into a rocks glass and muddle with the back of a spoon until the sugar dissolves. Add the ice cubes and bourbon. Stir. Twist the lemon peel over the drink to release the oil and then drop it in. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Makes 1 cocktail.
