Ever
wonder how alcoholic concoctions came to be known as
cocktails? Legend is that years ago, a New York tavern owner
had decorated her establishment with rooster feathers. One
night, a gentleman asked for a "cock's tail". She
festooned his drink with a rooster feather and the cocktail
was born.
